The glitz, glamour, and the Wow!
See the best of Broadway, be in awe over the most amazing Illusions, experience the speed and power of Pro Sports, be immersed in Imagination, go behind the scenes in TV and the Movies, and laugh until your sides hurt.
This is Show Town.
TV and Movie Stage Tour - Travel in 16-passenger old-time vehicles behind the scenes of some of your favorite TV shows, game shows, movies and ride into the Starship Enterprise. You'll act as the audience and go behind the camera and watch as if the show was being taped. The one and a half hour ride will end in a drive-in theater with the shows and movies coming to life all around you.
Backstage Eats - Dine on a TV show set. Order many California and Hollywood actor favorites. There are multiple dining rooms, each with its own TV show or movie set theme.
TV and Movie Stage Museum - See some of Hollywood's special effects and show and movie props.
The Hologram Theater - Enjoy a fully immersive visual light and sound show as you've never seen before. All 1,600 seats have the perfect view, and the 600 Harmony Speaker Surround Sound System ensures you hear every note being played. There are usually three unique shows, each playing two to three times a day. Each show lasts approximately 60 minutes. Over 30 million LED lights and 2,000 lasers bring fantasy to life.
WARNING: The Hologram Theater uses extremely "life-like" hologram lasers, and some special effects may be overwhelming for some guests. We highly recommend that no illicit drugs be taken before shows and those with a heightened sensory be cautious.
Houdini Theater - See with your own eyes motorcycles vanish in mid-air, watch in bewilderment as objects appear and disappear on stage and in the middle of the audience. You'll see magic and illusions that will make your jaw drop, your heart fill with excitement and your mind left to wonder. The Houdini Theater runs several unique shows, several times a day. Each show lasts around one hour and 15 minutes and is accompanied by a live band.
The Magic Plate - Dining has never been so mystifying. Did that person just appear from nowhere? Where did that beautiful vase in the corner go? Magic is the main course here. Roaming magicians will perform at your table for a close-up show.
Illusion Central - See and touch props and real illusion tricks from past greats like Houdini and Blackstone. See movie clips of the worlds greatest illusions from the greats themselves.
Broadway Theater - Experience the best shows from Broadway and custom shows that are not seen anywhere else. The Broadway Theater can seat 4,200 guests very comfortably and uses the "Perfect View" technology to ensure everyone can see the stage perfectly. Two separate shows are running several times daily. Each show is accompanied by a live band or orchestra. Shows last from one and a half hours to three.
Broadway Cuisine - Delight your taste buds while eating on stage. The stage is complete with overhead lights, props, servers dressed in costume and a faux live audience watching, all matching a current Broadway Theater show.
Broadway Museum - See autographed memorabilia, props, and actual scripts from many big-name theater productions.
Note: There is no food or drink allowed in any theater. Talking, videotaping, cell phone usage or any other distraction will not be permitted. We will ensure all of our guests can immerse themselves in any show!
Author's Nook - Many world-renowned authors come for visits to the WOE and love to do Q & A with their fans. The sessions are free, but reservations must be made in advance. The Author's Nook also showcases many transcripts from famous authors and even features writing classes for aspiring authors.
Journey Through Sports - There's nothing like knowing how truly amazing a pro sport is until you're right there. See up-close a 100 MPH baseball pitch, an NFL line of scrimmage, race down the sideline in a golf cart with a receiver, go on the Ice during an NHL Hockey game, and race 180 MPH in a NASCAR race car. The Journey Through Sports attraction gives you a field pass during the game and takes you faster than most people have ever traveled on land.
Sports Journey Cuisine - Eat in the action; On a baseball or football field, or in the middle of the Daytona Speedway.
Sports Hands - Touch and feel what pro athletic gear feels like. Test your skills in baseball, football, golf, and basketball.
Comedic Co. - The Comedic Company houses two stages, both have three unique shows running several times a day. Each show last about one hour.
The Jokesters Comedy Club - a traditional theater seating six hundred guests
Dining Improv - Your dining experience may have some extra surprises, at someone's else's expense, of course. But it's all in good fun! Enjoy great food while watching Improvisational comedy taking place around the dining room and on stage while you eat. Table setting and show lasts 1 hour.
Comedy View - Dine on the rooftop and enjoy great views of Show Town while you enjoy a delicious meal.
Comedic Co. Museum - Located in the entryway and the main corridor, you'll see many personal items from world-renowned comedians. Watch clips of the "old time" comedians in the Comedy Vault, where some of the funniest routines from the greatest comedians are shown in multiple viewing rooms.
Note: The comedy material is of the PG nature, and parents should be cautious with children under 15. The evening performance (8 pm) is on the PG-13 side. There are no overly vaguer words used or any topic that may be intensely sexual in nature.
Seating and entry for all shows and attractions in Show Town require reservations, which may be made when you book your visit or stay.
