Going back to school can be scary! So today, we are doing a back to school special just for you! This is one of my favorite times of year and I wanted to share three great stories about school with you. They are: “The Recess Queen” by Alexis O’Neil, which is all about Mean Jean who rules the playground at recess until a new girl, Katie Sue, comes in and changes things. The second story is “Twinkle” by Katherine Holabird and is all about a fairy named Twinkle and her first days at Fairy School. Finally, in “Big Boys Cry” by Jonty Howley, we see that Levi is afraid to go to school but his dad tells him big boys don’t cry. As he walks to school, he sees some men crying and realizes it is okay to cry. I will also include some
